CFS appoints Elkins to marketing and distribution role
Colonial First State (CFS) has announced the appointment of Linda Elkins (pictured) to the newly created position general manager of marketing & distribution.
Elkins joined Colonial group in April 2010 as general manager of marketing. Prior to that, she worked for Russell Investments as managing director of superannuation.
CFS chief executive, Brian Bissaker said the decision to appoint Elkins to the role followed an extensive search of internal and external candidates.
“Bringing together the distribution and marketing divisions will enable our business to more effectively deliver advice and product offerings to our clients in a rapidly changing and competitive wealth management sector,” Bissaker said.
In accepting the role, Elkins said she looks forward to “driving solutions which meet the needs of our clients as the industry embraces unprecedented regulatory reform”.
She will continue to report to Bissaker, and her appointment is effectively immediately.
