Boutique financial planning groupCentrestone Wealth Advisoryhas appointed ex-AMPexecutive Robyn Clubb as an associate adviser and to assist senior adviser Bruce Christie in sourcing and servicing new clients.

Clubb left AMP earlier this year, having held a variety of senior roles, which included director of new ventures for AMP International, general manager of AMP Banking in New Zealand, and general manager of AMP Investments.

Her experience dealing with high level executives is one of the reasons she has been brought on board, according to Centrestone joint chief executive Robert Keavney.

“Because many of Centrestone’s client are high net worth individuals, we need people who are comfortable dealing at that level,” Keavney says.

“Robyn also brings 19 years experience in financial services, including funds management, banking and product development, so she has an incredibly broad background.”

Clubb is in the process of completing the Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning, and will assist Bruce Christie, who brought $170 million in funds under advice when he joined Centrestone earlier this year, to grow his business further.

This appointment is aligned with Centrestone’s plan for expansion with an emphasis on quality of service.

“We’re in the process of acquiring high quality, client service-oriented financial planners, and as the business continues to grow, we will provide advisers with really high calibre support people who are able to handle the high net worth clients that we work with,” Keavney says.
