BT IM appoints new portfolio manager
BT Investment Management (BTIM) has appointed Justin Davey as a portfolio manager and a credit analyst in its income and fixed interest boutique.
Davey moved from Challenger Financial Services and will manage a number of fixed income credit portfolios. He will also be the primary analyst on the financial, infrastructure and utilities sectors, and will work closely with income and fixed interest quantitative analysis and the risk unit in developing credit models.
During his career, Davey worked as an auditor, credit analyst on Wall Street and a rating analyst before he moved to the buy-side as a portfolio manager.
His past employers include Standard & Poor’s, Citibank and Ernst & Young.
