Browne appointed Financial Wisdom GM
Financial Wisdom has named Tim Browne as its new general manager, following the promotion to ColonialFirstState of its former head, Paul Barrett.
Browne joins the Commonwealth bank-owned dealer group from Haintz Financial Services, where he was managing director. Browne replaced Barrett after his promotion to the role of general manager, distribution, at Colonial First State. Browne will now report to Barrett.
Commenting on his replacement, Barrett said Browne will be responsible for both the “ongoing operations of Financial Wisdom and the development and execution of its strategic plan”.
Prior to his role with Haintz Financial Services, Browne was the Victorian state manager for the MLC aligned licensees and state manager and practice development manager at MLC Alliances, serving the independent financial advice market.
In 2003, Brown was voted BDM of the Year by Money Management and MLC Alliances.
Financial Wisdom is a financial planning organisation that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Colonial First State and part of the Commonwealth Bank Group.
