Tim Bradbury, the former co-head of exchange-traded fund provider iShares Australia, has joined Barclays Capital as head of Investor Solutions.
Speaking to Money Management, Barclays Capital head of distribution (Australia) Allen McCristal said Bradbury’s appointment was “good news” for the company.
“We’re currently building our presence in the market. Tim’s appointment will help provide our funds with the exposure they need,” he said.
According to McCristal, Bradbury’s role as head of Investor Solutions will be to market and distribute the company’s funds and services to the adviser and institutional market.
Bradbury will report directly to McCristal.
The previous head of Investor Solutions, Caroline Saunders, moves across to head Barclays Capital Funds Solutions, which is responsible for sourcing, manufacturing and delivering stand-alone funds, such as the newly launched capital protected Barclays DYNAMIC80 International Share Fund, as well as ‘white label’ products.
Saunders will also be responsible for managing Barclays Capital’s responsible entity.
