Boutique asset manager expands agriculture investment team

Boutique asset management firm, Warakirri Asset Management, has announced the appointments of Peter Best and Tim Smith who will join its agriculture investment team as a senior investment specialist and an agribusiness analyst, respectively.

They would both report to Luke Carey, investment manager, agribusiness.

“The firm’s managing director, Jim McKay, said: “We are seeing significant demand for professionally managed investment in agriculture, which leverage Australia’s competitive advantages in the sector and delivers sustainable returns to investors with low correlation to traditional investment classes.”
