BetaShares makes adviser services appointment

Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) specialist, BetaShares, has announced a key adviser-related appointment.

The company announced this week it had appointed Tania Smyth as national manager for adviser services.

The announcement said Smyth brought over 15 years' financial services experience and would being joining the Adviser Services team, supporting financial advisers in their adoption of ETFs in client portfolios.

It said Smyth had extensive experience in equities and derivatives markets and that prior to joining BetaShares she had held senior equity derivative distribution roles with Commonwealth Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN AMRO to intermediaries and institutional clients.
