Bennelong adds analyst to long short equity team
Bennelong Long Short Equity Management (BLSEM) has expanded its research capability with the appointment of Michael Baker as investment analyst.
Baker has over 12 years of industry experience and comes to BLSEM from MM&E Capital, where he was chief investment officer responsible for co-managing two absolute return funds.
He has also spent time at Herschel Asset Management, Merrill Lynch Australia, Macquarie Bank and Credit Suisse.
BLSEM director Richard Fish said Baker’s appointment would allow the business to increase its footprint across the market, and would broaden and enhance its fundamental investment process.
