Independently-owned global equities manager, Bell Asset Management (BAM) has appointed Christine Feldmanis as its non-executive chair.

The company announced the appointment, noting that Feldmanis' most recent executive role had been Managing Director of Treasury Group Investment Services from 2005-2011 and that, since then, she had held a range of non-executive positions in the industry.

Announcing the appointment, BAM deputy chairman, Colin Bell, said Feldmanis' wealth of experience would be of enormous benefit to the existing team.

"We are thrilled that Christine has agreed to take on this role and her involvement will add real strength and depth to the business," he said. "We will benefit significantly from her strategic management skills and extensive knowledge, particularly her more than 10 years of assisting boutique investment firms grow."
