Avenir Capital makes new investment appointment
Australian boutique fund manager, Avenir Capital, has appointed equities analyst, Alexander Chin, as an investment associate to its team.
Chin joined the firm from Peters MacGregor Capital Management, and, prior to that, spent six years at Schroders as an equity analyst.
He also worked as an investment analyst at Sirius Funds Management, HFA Asset Management and The Intelligent Investor, and is a CFA Charterer holder.
The firm’s managing director and chief investment officer, Adrian Warner, said with Chin’s broad equities experience and track record of developing innovative investment ideas, he was a welcome addition to the team as it sought more global opportunities for its concentrated portfolio.
