Asteron Life introduces Adviser Service Fee facility
Asteron Life has this week announced another change to its service offering, aimed at advisers.
The company announced the introduction of an Adviser Service Fee facility, which it said would enable an automated collection and payment service for advice fees charged to clients, which could be used at the initial advice stage as well as at the point of renewal.
Announcing the move, Asteron Life head of Intermediated Advice, Mark Vilo, said the Adviser Service Fee facility was designed to be used alongside any of the company's five remuneration options including upfront, hybrid, level, customised or wholesale.
"With remuneration changes in the life insurance market expected to come into effect soon, it's important to be looking at forward thinking ways to provide advisers with choice, flexibility and control when it comes to helping them manage their business and client relationships," he said.
