ANZFM appoint new asset management head
Deutsche Morgan Grenfell director of marketing and client service Chris Ryan will take on the role of head of business development in asset management with ANZ Funds Management and Insurance(ANZFM).
Deutsche Morgan Grenfell director of marketing and client service Chris Ryan will take on the role of head of business development in asset management with ANZ Funds Management and Insurance(ANZFM).
Ryan will focus on building ANZ’s investment management business by developing wholesale business through various distributions channels. He will also head up the distribution of ANZFM’s products through advisers and master trusts and manage the wholesale client services section.
At Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Ryan was responsible for developing and implementing marketing and client service strategies. Prior to joined that group he was with HSBC Investment Funds in Hong Kong as managing director.
Ryan will make the move to the Melbourne based funds management group in early September and will report to chief investment officer Bruce Bonyhady.
Bonyhady is also a recent recruit to ANZFM moving across from BT Funds Management where he was an executive vice president.
Apart from his move ANZFM has been through a number of high profile staff changes since the start of the year. Norwich managing director James McKenzie joined in March in the same role while Sealcorp marketing director Lisa Henderson joined ANZFM business development and marketing general manager in April.
