ANZ Wealth has released a video series designed to support advisers and superannuation funds in helping their clients understand how they can utilise insurance cover.

The six videos offered a “straight-talking” guide to insurance and was created in response to feedback from the industry that insurance could be confusing for consumers.

Group executive, ANZ Wealth, Alexis George said: “Insurance can be a complex and difficult topic. Not only because it makes us consider life’s worst-case scenarios, but also because there are so many levels and types of cover available”.

The series offered separate video packages available to customers through an adviser and for those who were covered under a group super fund.

Australian media figure, James Mathison would host the videos.

“By providing simple and engaging videos, hosted by a popular household name like James, we hope to make insurance more accessible for people who might be overlooking the importance of protecting themselves and the things that matter to them,” George said.

Adviser can view the videos by signing in or registering at OnePath Adviser Advantage online services, while they can view the superannuation videos on the OnePath website.
