ANZ recruits transformation specialist
ANZ has appointed former Bain & Company specialist, Kathryn van der Merwe as its group executive, talent and culture.
The big banking group announced the appointment this week, saying van der Merwe would report to ANZ chief executive, Shayne Elliott.
van der Merwe has been recruited to ANZ from Bain & Co where she held senior leadership roles focussed on business transformation including a focus on strengthening organisation culture and capability.
According to ANZ, van der Merwe would be responsible for leading the human resources function at ANZ and will be a member of the group executive committee.
