AMP’s Doyle to be new CEO of REST
A former AMP senior executive has been appointed to head up one of Australia’s largest industry superannuation funds, REST
The board of REST announced on Friday that former AMP Director, Superannuation, Retirement and Investments, Vicki Doyle, had been appointed as the fund’s chief executive, effective from the beginning of next.
Prior to being recruited by AMP, Doyle was with BT for two years after being recruited from a nine-year sting at Suncorp.
Commenting on the appointment, REST chairman, Ken Marshman said Doyle’s record spoke for itself.
“Vicki brings to REST extensive executive leadership experience and a track record in superannuation advocacy. She is a member of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) Super System Design Policy Council and is also on the Financial Services Council (FSC) Superannuation Board Committee.”
Doyle succeeds the long-serving Damian Hill in the REST chief executive role.
