AMP recruits ANZ manager
AMP Financial Services has appointed Victor Sumsky to the position of dealer group services manager in its advice and services division.
Sumsky, who comes to AMP from a career at ANZ in distribution, will be responsible for developing a support service for AMP’s advice-led distribution channels. Such channels include AMP Financial Planning and Hillross Financial Services, while Sumsky will also be dealing with other independent financial planning groups.
Sumsky will be reporting to advice and services director, Steven Helmich, who says Sumsky’s appointment will be key for AMP’s future distribution.
“The dealer group services operation will provide a key platform for the future growth of AMP’s distribution and Victor will play a key role in developing these services,” Helmich says.
Sumsky joins AMP after holding the roles of head of distribution services, chief of staff in the general manager’s office and senior manager of strategy implementation at ANZ. His most recent role was senior project manager.
