AMP executive appointed to FSC board

The Financial Services Council (FSC) has appointed AMP group executive, advice and New Zealand, Jack Regan to its board of directors.

He has also been made co-chair of the FSC’s advice board committee.

Regan has spent more than 35 years in financial services in executive, distribution, marketing and operational roles at firms including St. George Bank, IOOF, and GIO before joining AMP’s Hillross Advice.

He was now responsible for AMP’s advice and direct businesses in the Australia and New Zealand operations. He has been with AMP for over 18 years.

He is currently a director of AMP Advice Holdings and a board member of ipac Securities and ipac Group Services. He has also been the responsible officer for the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) licensed entities, and New Zealand’s Reserve Bank and Financial Markets Authority.  

Regan commenced on 24 February.
