The AMP Capital announcement said Stanley had extensive experience leading transactions and managing assets within the infrastructure space, with a predominant focus on the transport sector.

It said he was most recently a director on the Australian board of Whitehelm Capital and Chairman of its UK subsidiary board and had held previous roles such as Head of Infrastructure Investment Advisory, Europe, Middle East and Africa at Morgan Stanley and Managing Director, Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets at Macquarie Group in Sydney and London.
