AMP Capital bolsters Asian equities team

Andy Peng has joined AMP Capital as portfolio manager/analyst in the Asian equities team based in Hong Kong.
He spent the last three years as an investment analyst covering Asian equities at Ward Ferry Management in Hong Kong and previously spent two years at Goldman Sachs Capital Partners in San Francisco as an analyst.
In his new role, Peng will focus on the telecoms, utilities, healthcare (Pan Asia) and consumer discretionary sectors (ex-Greater China).
AMP Capital head of Asia ex-Greater China Jonathan Reoch said the Asian equities team is now fully resourced and the addition of Peng would build on the progress the division has made so far following the team's relocation to Hong Kong in September 2012.
The team has now hired four portfolio managers/analysts and moved two existing team members to the region, AMP Capital stated.
