AMP bolsters IFA and alliances business development team
AMP has expanded its independent financial advice (IFA) and alliances distribution wealth protection sales team with two appointments based in Queensland.
Kevin Canning has been appointed regional leader/business development manager in Queensland and Reece Foster has joined the team as business development manager.
“Both Kevin and Reece’s extensive industry knowledge and experience will be a great asset to the AMP IFA and alliances distribution sales team. These key appointments reaffirm our commitment to growing our presence in the IFA risk market nationally,” said AMP's director of IFA and alliances distribution, Dan Powell.
Canning has more than 22 years industry experience, which include stints as head of sales and marketing and state manager for Queensland at ING.
Like Canning, Foster joined AMP on 7 June also from Millennium 3 Financial Services, where he managed his own insurance-focused planning practice as an authorised representative of the dealer group.
