"The business, marketing and client service activities of the dealer group's Victorian and Tasmanian practice principals and financial advisers will benefit immensely from Danielle's strategic coaching expertise," he said.
Burke added that Nugent's appointment reflected the AFS group's "commitment to providing advisers and practice managers with resources, services and personnel that are accessible and dedicated to assisting them maximise their operational productivity and potential".
Burke has been acting chief executive since the departure of former chief executive and managing director Peter Daly in May.
Following his departure from AFS, Daly made the move to one-stop-shop Yellow Brick Road to help with the recruitment of financial planning practices.
