AdviserLogic will team up with application integrator Zapier to enable clients to integrate their accounts with a range of popular apps, the financial planning software provider said.

The application programming interface will allow clients to easily integrate their accounts with popular apps such as Google Calendar, Calendly, Xero, Evernote and Formstack, AdviserLogic CEO Daniel Gara said.

For example, if an adviser wished to create a client record in AdviserLogic based on the completion of a Google form, that would now be possible, he explained.

“You could also automatically trigger an email to the practice manager, post to Slack and log the action in Google Sheets all at the same time,” Gara said.

Managing director of Financial Framework and AdviserLogic user Tim Luxton said a longstanding challenge his practice faced has been trying to get various software applications to talk to each other.

“The news that AdviserLogic has introduced Zapier integration to facilitate this is very exciting for us and will significantly improve efficiency levels across our office,” he said.
