Aberdeen AM appoints investment specialist

Aberdeen Asset Management has appointed a new investment specialist within its Australian business.
The company announced this week it had appointed former AMP Capital staffer, Josh Hall, to the role which will see him working closely with Aberdeen's multi asset team as well as global, Asian and emerging market equity fund managers to promote these capabilities and represent the teams' views and portfolio positioning to Australian investors.
Commenting on the appointment, Aberdeen Asset Management head of distribution, Stuart James said a key focus was growing the multi-asset business.
"Josh will play an important role in communicating the strengths of our offering in this space and explaining the benefits of our multi-asset funds to Australian investors," he said. "He will also play an active role in supporting our highly regarded overseas equity funds to clients and advisers."
