Zurich and netwealth form strategic partnership
Zurich and platform provider netwealth have entered a strategic partnership which will see Zurich added as the third insurer to netwealth's LifeWrap facility from October this year.
Zurich's general manager for retail life and investments, Phillip Kewin, said the new deal aligns with Zurich's growth strategy.
"netwealth's broad adviser appeal and comprehensive market offering were key to our decision to strategically partner with them," Kewin said.
"Risk on platform is a rapidly growing market segment and we look forward to working with the netwealth management team and their adviser partners to strengthen the quality of their client offering", Kewin added.
A recent report by Investment Trends named netwealth as the best-ranking platform in terms of adviser satisfaction.
"The addition and integration of Zurich life products into our super and investment suite provides our members and investors with choice not available elsewhere in the platform market," said Matt Heine, netwealth executive director.
"Zurich's focus on key market segments and commitment to technology made them a natural partner."
