Omniwealth launches insurance broking services arm
Financial services group, Omniwealth, has added to its existing suite of services, today announcing the launch of its insuance broking services arm, aimed at assisting its business clients with their general insurance needs.
The insurance service will join Omniwealth's existing suite of planning, business, legal, broking, real estate and account services and will be led by broker, Anthony Anastasio.
"General insurance dove-tails with creating good wealth management strategy and the information exchange synergies of working with the existing Omniwealth client base and their in-house advisers," said Anastasio.
"I am very excited by the opportunity of working with the various departments of Omniwealth and providing additional services to their business clients."
Omniwealth group managing director, Matthew Kidd, said that general insurance was an important area that needed specialist attention from the group and that he was confident that Anastasio's team was a fit for the role.
"General insurance is often overlooked by AFSLs as too specialist but it is essential for advisers to assist SMEs to protect their business assets," he said.
"Anthony and his team... bring over 25 years of general insurance experience and have advised across many diverse business segments."
