Kaplan launches insurance courses
Kaplan Professional has introduced two insurance diplomas after extensive consultation with their clients and industry professionals.
The education provider has launched the Diploma of Insurance Broking and Diploma of General Insurance, targeted at those who were already working or wished to work in the industry, particularly those wishing for leadership or specialist technical roles.
In the insurance broking course, individuals would learn about the insurance industry, products and services, Tier 1 broking advice, general and personal advice, compliance for broking clients, working with premium clients, and complex risk exposures.
Those opting for the general insurance course would learn about the financial services industry, general insurance products, adviser training for Tier 1 and Tier 2 general insurance products, managing disputes, complex risk assessment for clients, product research and underwriting for complex client risks.
Some subjects in both courses would include progressive assessment with coaching feedback and case studies, including organisational and character profiles.
