In what they are claiming as an industry first, Asteron and back-office software provider Olicc have launched a solution that streamlines the tracking of insurance applications.

According to the two companies, the solution will help financial advisers track applications for Asteron Lifeguard products by providing automated updates on specific clients, therefore eradicating the need for planners to manually track and collate notifications delivered by e-mail, facsimile or phone.

Commenting on the new offering, Olicc managing director Cliff Garrels said the system was the first of its kind within the Australian financial advice and insurance sectors and would change the way advisers manage their clients’ insurance applications to save time and money.

He said the new workflow system would see all notifications produced by Asteron sent directly to Olicc administrators by e-mail and then uploaded into appropriate adviser’s ‘what’s on’ screen within the Olicc secure web application.
