CommInsure fills key insurance role
CommInsure has appointed Mark Woodward as head of wholesale risk distribution.
Woodward replaces Michael Back, who left CommInsure late last year when he moved to head up Suncorp’s group risk business.
Woodward has worked for CommInsure since 2007, with his previous role being executive general manager of retail banking services distribution.
A statement from CommInsure announcing his appointment said Woodward has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance and banking industry, including roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, IBM and SAS. His experience spans life and general insurance, workers compensation, health and government insurance and reinsurance, the company said.
