Asteron joins IRESS insurance premium validation service
Asteron's Lifeguard risk product range is the most recent addition to IRESS' real-time insurance premium validation service.
XPLAN Risk Researcher subscribers can now obtain real-time binding quotes relating to Asteron's Lifeguard risk product range, along with CommInsure and Zurich's product offerings. And IRESS continues to seek coverage of the entire risk insurance market.
IRESS managing director Andrew Walsh said their premium validation framework has attracted strong interest within the risk industry.
"Life insurers appreciate the developments that are being made by IRESS to reduce complexity and inefficiency in the adviser workflow when writing insurance business," said Walsh.
Asteron's general manager, Jordon Hawke, said the partnership with IRESS enables the company to deliver more business efficiencies to advisers, as the advisers are now able to simultaneously research the product and quote a policy.
