ANZ Wealth launches online LIF hub
ANZ Wealth today announced the launch of its new online LIF Hub, as it tries to help advisers prepare for the Life Insurance Framework (LIF) reforms that become effective from 1 January 2018.
As the life insurance industry undergoes a period of change, this is the latest in many initiatives introduced by ANZ Wealth to support advisers respond to new reforms.
The online adviser hub offers guidelines on how commissions will be paid once the reforms take effect, which is one change that has caused some confusion amongst advisers. It will also help advisers better utilise ongoing technology and service enhancements.
Head of life insurance at ANZ Wealth, Gerard Kerr, said that the new hub should help advisers resolve confusion about the reforms.
“We know our advisers have many questions about the changes the LIF reforms will bring and we have made it a priority to provide them with the right tools and information to prepare for the new environment,” he said.
