AIA launches health insurance brand
AIA Australia has launched a new health insurance brand, myOwn, which will be bundled with its health and wellness program, AIA Vitality.
myOwn is an alliance between AIA Australia, a not-for-profit health fund, GMHBA, and a South African financial services provider, Discovery.
AIA Australia and New Zealand chief executive, Damien Mu, said myOwn and AIA Vitality could help consumers get healthier and provide them with more value for money.
myOwn offers hospital and extras cover and packages with Vitality so that members who are actively engaged in the program may be eligible for premium discounts and a range of rewards offered by Vitality.
“With myOwn offering health insurance with AIA Vitality, we support people to know their health, improve their health, and enjoy the rewards,” Mu said.
“It is another important step towards our vision to champion Australia to be the healthiest and most protected nation in the world.”
