IRESS signs major offshore group to broking software
Financial services technology and software provider IRESS has signed a deal with global equities transaction broker to provide order management services for its local operations.
Olivetree Securities, the Australian operation of Olivetree Financial, will use the IRESS order management system, IOS, as part of its expansion in the Australian market.
The arrangement boosts IRESS client base in the broking and trading sector with IRESS, Managing Director of Financial Markets for Australia and New Zealand, Kirsty Gross, stating it was pleasing to see an established overseas broker establishing itself in the Australian market.
Olivetree Asia, chief executive, Ian Simmonds, said IRESS was chosen for its size and presence in the local market and the arrangement will create seamless trading for clients regardless of their own portfolio management systems.
Olivetree Financial is an independent agency broker with offices in London, New York and Sydney and offers institutional broking services founded on the use of advanced data and analytics capabilities.
