First AustralianSuper, now La Trobe offer frequent flyer points
Financial services house La Trobe Financial has taken a leaf out of the AustralianSuper playbook and is offering Qantas frequent flyer points for people making both new and additional investments.
La Trobe is telling clients that if they invest in the company’s 12-month Term Account, over $10,000 will be eligible for Qantas Frequent Flyer Points.
What is more, the company is providing those investors with a calculator to determine precisely how many points their investment will generate.
“If you are considering an additional investment, now is a great time. New investments in the 12 month term account over $10,000 are eligible for Qantas Frequent Flyer points,” the company’s promotion said.
“You don’t need to create a new account. Simply make a new eligible investment of $10,000 or more in a 12 month term account. Register your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number with us.”
The promotional material said that for clients who were not Qantas Frequent Flyer members, joining fees to the frequent flyer scheme would be waived.
