Managed investment platform DomaCom has strengthened its leadership capability with a flurry of executive hires and internal promotions.

According to DomaCom, the numerous appointments will drive the company’s forward-focus growth strategy as it evolves into a technology-driven and fund-first business.

Namely, it welcomed Jules Grove as its chief financial officer. Grove takes over from DomaCom’s current CFO Philip Chard, who has held the position for 10 years.

The incoming CFO joins from registry services provider Automic Group where he served as managing principal and CFO advisory. Moreover, Grove has held a variety of executive finance and CFO roles within growth companies.

Vinuraj Koliyat, who was previously a non-executive director, has transitioned into the newly created position of chief experience and technology officer. In this executive role, he will assist the firm in achieving its strategic objectives, including increasing revenue per funds under management and scaling operations for future growth.

Raymond Jourdan, who currently serves as an executive director on the board, will also take on a full-time executive position as chief operations officer (COO).

In his expanded capacity, Jourdan will strengthen DomaCom’s compliance framework, build robust procedures, and lead the firm’s risk and transformation initiatives.

Moreover, Ross Laidlaw, who was previously the COO at DomaCom, will move into the chief commercialisation officer role.

Laidlaw will focus on supporting the commercialisation of current funds, developing and launching new funds, and bolstering distribution channels to accelerate revenue growth, the firm stated.

According to Giuseppe Porcelli, chairman of DomaCom, the changes to its executive team and board will position the business to deliver future growth and stronger outcomes for shareholders.

“Building a team that is aligned and capable of delivering success is a cornerstone of our strategy. It is fantastic to see the CEO assembling such an exceptional team of leaders who bring diverse expertise and a shared commitment to our vision. These appointments position us strongly for future growth and success,” he said.

Porcelli, an experienced artificial intelligence (AI) leader, was appointed as DomaCom’s new chairman earlier this month. Previous chair Ross Landles, who held the position since August 2024, subsequently moved into a new role on the board as non-executive director.

Last year was also a period of shake-up for the firm’s leadership, with chief executive John Elkovich departing the CEO role in March after two years and replaced in an acting capacity by Steven James.

James then left in October and was replaced by Jourdan, also in an acting capacity. The firm then appointed Darren Younger in November to the role on a permanent basis.
