Bennelong JV leads to Touchstone launch

Bennelong Funds Management has formed a partnership with newly formed Australian equities investment team, Touchstone Asset Management to provide back office and financial support.
Touchstone is a joint initiative between Bennelong and Touchstone's co-founders Jack Chemello, Suellen Morgan and Mary Feros with the back-office arrangement allowing the latter to hire Ron Sargeant, Peta Arnott and Blake Dowsett as investment analysts.
The first Touchstone fund, to be launched later this year, will offer highly concentrated Australian equities exposure and be benchmark unaware using a proprietary bottom-up process and top-down risk management framework to manage the portfolio during varying market conditions and economic cycles.
