Zurich promotes Drennan
Zurich Financial Services Australia has moved to beef up its funds management presence with the appointment of Matthew Drennan to the role of General Manager, Investment within the company’s leadership team.
Drennan had previously held the position of Director of Investments.
Drennan will report directly to Zurich’s Australian chief executive, David Smith, who said the appointment reflected the rapid growth and importance of the investments business to Zurich Australia’s operations.
He said the role would also help to ensure that the company was well-positioned to take advantage of a return to more buoyant markets as investors become more optimistic about the future of their investments.
