Zurich launches mobile adviser portal
Zurich Financial Services Australia has launched a new advice portal offering with advanced levels of functionality shaped by beta testing, called ZLife.
ZLife will be the first mobile optimised portal of its type in the Australian market.
The portal will allow for the downloading of a range of documents, uploading of attachments and viewing of applications, transactions and account balances from any mobile or desktop advice, the firm said.
Zurich head of retail distribution, Kristine Brooks, said "efficiency is the primary focus for the majority of advisers, but the challenge has been to drive meaningful efficiencies without compromising customer experience".
"Automation and process simplification are two of the main ways advisers seek to drive efficiency."
The efficiency of ZLife was measured by Zurich beta testing on a pilot cohort of risk advisers, a measure Brooks said will ensure the portal meets the practical needs of today's busy advice practice market and will engage all staff to assist customers across a range of needs.
"ZLife offers a birds-eye view of a customer portfolio," she said.
"We are seeing multiple support staff get involved throughout the customer life cycle... giving advisers more effectiveness even when away from their office."
