Zurich expands online application service
Zurich Financial Services Australia has bolstered its online application service by adding trauma and needlestick cover to its web-based, signature-free application system, Ezicover, which already features term insurance.
The service is available for Zurich’s Ezicover distribution partners, which include various dealer groups, credit unions and health funds, as well as clients via the websites of these distribution partners.
The additions are part of Zurich’s campaign to simplify access to life insurance in order to address Australia’s underinsurance problem.
“Zurich’s aim is to help alleviate the devastating impact on families that can result through underinsurance by simplifying access to life insurance through the use of an online service, while helping intermediaries provide cost-effective insurance solutions for their middle market clients,” Zurich head of life risk Andrew McKee said.
“Including trauma and needlestick in our suite of online services provides customers with a broader range of options for meeting their life insurance needs.”
