Zurich completes geographic expansion
Zurich Financial Services has completed its geographic expansion in Australia with the establishment of an office in Darwin.
Zurich’s general manager, general insurance, Anthony Day said that the company was now represented in every state and territory.
Discussing the company’s strategy in the Northern Territory, Day said that it would focus initially on a mix of package and mid-market business, with emphasis on motor fleet and SME package insurance, aimed at capitalising on the significant growth in small business.
“The expansion into the Northern Territory is another growth initiative to increase our market share in the Australian insurance market,” he said.
