Week left to nominate the Financial Planner of the Year


There is only a week left to nominate Money Management's Financial Planner of the Year (FPOTY) for 2012 as the nominations close on Thursday, 11 October.
The award seeks to recognise excellence in the financial advice sector and will be presented at a Money Management cocktail function on Thursday, 22 November.
The winner will receive a trip to the 2013 Financial Planning Conference in the US worth $10,000.
Any financial adviser can be nominated for the FPOTY 2012 title by completing the entry form and meeting Part 1 of the judging criteria.
Part 1 includes the following:
- A covering letter outlining why the individual should be considered for the award (400 words)
- Information covering the individual's career achievements (300 words); input to the financial planning profession (300 words) and their CV.
Money Management will contact the applicants who make it through to the next stage of the judging process to notify them of the additional criteria.
