Sealcorp has added an online tool, ePlan, to its Advisernet financial planning software platform, allowing the software to automatically generate a financial plan on behalf of advisers.

The types of situations that advisers might require the use of the online tool are superannuation rollovers, end of year contributions, one-off investments and regular investment plans, according to Sealcorp.

The plan is automatically produced by the software after a number of questions are answered by advisers to establish a client’s risk profile.

Sealcorp associate director of technical services Tim Gunning says the tool is suitable for advisers who have clients who do not need the full suite of financial planning services.

“It is a logical addition to Advisernet with its focus of providing advisers with comprehensive desk top service,” Gunning says.

ePlan will incorporate Asgard’s Model Choice Portfolios and other funds available on theAsgardinvestment option list.

Four thousand advisers now use the Advisernet software platform, a figure which has grown from 1500 in April 2000.
