Planners to provide pro bono advice

The Financial Planning Association (FPA) has confirmed that its members will once again use Financial Planning Week to volunteer their time towards answering consumer queries at no cost.
Financial Planning Week begins next week and FPA acting chief executive officer, Deen Sanders, said the organisation was proud to be able to deliver its Ask an Expert initiative for the third year in a row.
He said the initiative represented a great opportunity for consumers to seek advice and understand just how valuable it could be.
Sanders said that last year 460 questions were submitted by Australians looking to improve their financial situation.
Consumers can access the Ask an Expert service via www.goodadvice.com.au from Monday next week through to Sunday 30 May.
