Perpetual fills new national manager fiduciary solutions role
Perpetual has secured legal professional Peter Whitehead for its newly-created role of national manager of fiduciary solutions.
The role has been created to lead the strategic direction and management of Perpetual’s trust advice and estate planning operations, according to Perpetual’s group executive of private wealth, John Nesbitt.
Whitehead will also develop and maintain a leadership role with industry and community representative bodies such as the Trustee Corporations Association.
Whitehead was previously a solicitor and general counsel to the Public Trustee. Most recently he was chief executive of the Public Trustee.
“Perpetual is one of the few organisations that, in addition to strategic and investment advice, can also prepare wills, administer estates and offer trustee services … allowing us to assist clients through all stages of their life and beyond,” Whitehead said.
