Former HSBC executive Jeff Organ has been named among a raft of new faces at AM Corporation where he will head business development and corporate super.
"I had been at HSBC for seven years and unless I moved to Melbourne, promotions were limited and AM Corporation offered an opportunity to move into a national position," Organ says.
Organ stresses the recent changes at HSBC, which saw the installation of new CEO Bob DeHart and new CIO David Stuart, had no bearing on his move.
"I was happy with HSBC. I had built the Sydney office and was state manager but was seeking more responsibility and saw an opportunity with AM Corporation," he says.
Organ's new posting was previously held by Tom Kneen, who has taken up the role of technical services general manager at AM.
"All the recent AM appointments have been through growth, my position is a new one, as is Tom's in a sense. Both have evolved and business development needed to be a stand alone department," Organ says.
