Omnium unveils risk insurance iPhone app

Specialist financial services iApp developer Omnium has unveiled what it says is the first iPhone application for risk insurance, branded for UK dealer group Openwork.
Omnium described Openwork as one of the biggest adviser groups in the United Kingdom, with more than 2,000 brokers and financial advisers.
It said the app helped Openwork advisers to make instant risk insurance illustrations across Openwork’s approved provider panel on the move on their Apple devices.
Commenting on the move, Omnium product manager, Trishanth Chandrahasan said the company was pleased there was demand for customised mobile insurance solutions in the UK.
“We hope to see the same demand here in Australia,” he said. “There are significant sales and compliance benefits to take advantage of.”
