Northern Trust promotes Peter Jordan
Major custodian Northern Trust has appointed Peter Jordan as its head of Global Fund Services in Australia and New Zealand.
The company announced that Jordan, who relocated to Melbourne from London earlier this year, will lead Northern Trust Global Fund Services in Australia and New Zealand, overseeing its asset servicing offerings for investment managers and fund companies.
It said that Jordan would report to Northern Trust head of global services, Peter Cherecwich and country head for Australia and New Zealand, Rohan Singh.
Commenting on the appointment, Northern Trust Asia-Pacific head Teresa Parker said Asia-Pacific was the fastest growing region for Northern Trust with assets under custody growing at an annual rate of 26 per cent from 2008 through to 2013.
