New faces as FPA expands education unit

TheFinancial Planning Association (FPA)has successfully poached Clare Morgan, another of theSecurities Institute of Australia’s (SIA) education team, who joins the FPA’s Sydney office as the business development manager of its newly formed education business unit (EBU).

Morgan is the second of the SIA’s education team to move to the FPA - Chris McMillan, who heads up the EBU, was responsible for developing education programs at the SIA.

The EBU, which was formed late last year, is involved in the ongoing provision of the Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) program.

Morgan’s appointment is just one of five recent appointments made by the FPA.

Anthony Ryan joins the EBU in Melbourne as business development manager, while Rohan Burgess, who spent 17 years withAXA, has been appointed general manager of member services.

Also joining the FPA are Andrew McClure, who has been appointed business development manager of member services, and Geoff Leaver who takes on a new role as Sydney chapter services coordinator.
