Morningstar strengthens funds research team
Morningstar has added to its fund research team with the appointment of an associate analyst and the promotion of three team members.
John Valtwies, Tom Whitelaw and Tim Wong have all been promoted to senior research analyst positions, while Alison Stauss has joined the team as an associate analyst, having come from Morningstar’s graduate program.
Co-head of fund research, Tim Murphy, said that given the growth in the number of advisers using their fund research, he felt it was an opportune time to recognise the high-quality work Valtwies, Whitelaw and Wong had produced.
“Each will pick up additional responsibilities over time as we continually improve our research offering for dealer groups and advisers,” he said.
