Morningstar has appointed Jamie Wickham as head of products and client solutions, Asia-Pacific.

Based in Sydney, Wickham will be responsible for the research house's product development and client solutions activities in Asia-Pacific.

Commenting on the appointment, head of global products and client solutions, Kunal Kapoor said Wickham's experience at the company spearheading growth of data and research products made him a great fit for the role.

"He'll drive our efforts to continue building operations and infrastructure for growth and developing processes for integrating our product management and client solutions activities in the Asia-Pacific region into our global framework."

Wickham has been with Morningstar since 2005 and was most recently head of global data and research products in London where he led the company's managed investment, equity, and market datafeed capabilities, products, and solutions. Prior to this he was the director of equity operations, and was also chief operating officer for Morningstar's business in Australia and New Zealand responsible for institutional and adviser products and leading the local data collection team.
