MLC makes senior appointment
National Australia Bank's wealth management arm, MLC, has internally promoted Vanessa Rowe to general manager of MLC Direct.
Rowe will provide leadership as MLC grows its business and said it was important for customers to have a continuous advice experience, regardless of whether it was through digital, phone or face-to-face channels.
"I strongly believe in the difference that advice can make, and I am committed to ensuring our business gives more Australians the opportunity to seek high quality, trusted advice," she said.
"As a business, it is vital to provide a seamless, end-to-end advice experience — regardless of what channel is used."
As an industry veteran, Rowe has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry in various disciplines including financial advice, risk management, superannuation, and platforms.
She was most recently head of MLC advice network, and held business and risk management roles at MLC prior to that.
